Mother nature fabricates single material patterns that serve a wide scale of functions on many levels; from leafs to spider webs. To achieve this, she plays with form and structure. Lilian is exploring these and due to developments in the 3D printing industry able to mimic these on a meticulous level. This bicycle saddle is comfortable, lightweight and can be tailored to meet the personal needs of the buyer. Since these are 3D printed every single bicycle saddle can be adjusted to the wishes of the user. Another example of how biomimicry can improve usability and design.

This project is established in collaboration with StudioMOM in 2016.
